I just got an offer for my book Engines of the Broken World, which means very soon it will be bought by a publisher, which means that it will no longer be available. Also, I get to now spell Author with a capital A. This was a big wad of XP to get all at once, and it totally leveled me.
Congratulations!!!! How does it work when you have already epublished yourself? Will they buy the ebook rights as well as print? Obviously the fact that it was already out there made it come to the publishers attentions, but what do they think of the fact that it has essentially already been released. Intriguing situation, but none the less awesome!

They know it's been published by me, and all those versions will vanish when I sign the contract. That is, I have to take them all down, because I won't be able to distribute it myself any longer. They will be buying ebook rights, as far as I'm aware, but I don't have the contract in hand yet. And there will be a new cover, quite possibly a new title, a new edit of the book that may be a small change or a massive one. It is very exciting, indeed.
